The Venice Neighborhood Council's Parking, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee passed a motion to expand enforcement against RV parking across all of Venice, Los Angeles. Initially limited to the 700 block of Washington Boulevard, the measure now targets the entire neighborhood after complaints from residents and business owners. The motion calls on the Department of Transportation and LAPD to increase ticketing and towing for vehicles that block walkways, accumulate trash, or play loud music overnight. Overnight parking for vehicles over 22 feet long and 7 feet tall is already banned in parts of Venice and other LA neighborhoods.
