A parking lot being built in Santianes del Terrón, near Arriondas, is intended to accommodate motorhomes during the Aquasella festival. The festival promoter advertises spaces with lighting, 24-hour security, toilets and water refill points. The Coordinadora Ecoloxista d’Asturies filed a complaint due to lack of permits. The Principality’s Urban Discipline Department has requested documentation from the Parres town hall. According to an ecologist spokesperson, the town hall has no permits, and the local police, the Hydrographic Confederation and the Roads Authority have issued unfavourable reports, yet construction continues.
