She aims to save for a van for longer trips and eventually create a parking community for nomadic travelers, especially women.
Rossmonster has introduced two off-road motorhomes: the Baja Plus, built on a Ford F-550 or Ram 5500 chassis, and the Baja Trail 72. The Baja Plus emphasizes space and autonomy, while the Trail 72 focuses on compactness and durability. The Trail 72 features a Carli Pintop suspension, 37-inch BFGoodrich KO2 tires, foldable dinette, bed, refrigerator, induction cooktop, and 12V climate control. Both models are designed for extended travel in harsh conditions.
Renault, in partnership with French startup Carapate Aventure, has developed the R4 Carapate mini caravan for the Renault 4 E-Tech electric vehicle. The caravan weighs approximately 560 kg, within the car's towing capacity of 750 kg. It features a convertible sleeping area, an outdoor kitchen, and a retro design. The caravan starts at €17,600, while the Renault 4 E-Tech in Greece starts at €24,400 after subsidies.
The Greek Ministry of Environment and Energy (YPEN) issued a directive activating forestry and urban planning laws to dismantle motorhomes placed on protected lands. The order references a 1991 regulation on movable property in illegal structures and targets cases where temporary motorhome parking evolves into permanent unauthorized buildings. It mandates the removal of a motorhome in Corinthia and sets a precedent for similar cases nationwide.
The Hellenic Motorhome Club (ELAT) reported unjustified pressure on motorhome owners in the Diakopto area. According to the club, following complaints from the Panhellenic Association of Camping Owners, police inspected the motorhome parking site nine times in three days, finding no violations. The club states that parking and living inside a motorhome is legal as long as no external equipment is deployed, and calls for an end to using police resources to pressure alternative tourism.
Skydream has introduced a caravan approximately 8 meters long, equipped with two 85 kWh lithium batteries and rooftop solar panels. The model is in pre-production; price and launch date are yet to be announced. It includes driver assistance for hill starts, hitching, and parking, plus automatic leveling. The interior features a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and a living room with a 60-inch screen.

Police on Mykonos arrested a 51-year-old man who was growing cannabis in a caravan on a plot of land. The search revealed 15 plants at various growth stages, two plants drying, and 319 grams of raw cannabis. The caravan was equipped with a dedicated cultivation area including lamps, hygrometer, thermometer, and humidifier. The suspect was referred to the Syros prosecutor's office.
The young company HIP Campers from Sofia has presented a 7.2-meter motorhome. The model is designed for modern travelers and features high-quality finishing. The new vehicle has attracted attention in the industry.
Bulgarian startup HIP Campers has introduced the HIP 4Family motorhome, 7.2 meters long, designed for family use. The model features two separate sleeping areas for children and parents, a kitchen with a 125×60 cm countertop and a 141-liter fridge, and a spacious bathroom. Total storage capacity is 2,780 liters. The base version costs €150,000, the Maxi version €160,000, and the Supreme version €200,000.

Police in Mykonos arrested a 51-year-old Greek man who turned a motorhome into a cannabis grow room. Officers seized 15 plants, 2 drying plants, 319 grams of raw marijuana, and cultivation equipment. The case has been referred to the Syros prosecutor's office.
Since 2025, Greece has imposed restrictions on parking and camping for motorhomes and caravans. Overnight stays and long-term parking are now only allowed in organized campsites or designated areas. Fines for illegal parking range up to 300 euros with a 10-day license suspension, while unauthorized camping can lead to up to 3 years in prison.

On the evening of June 8, a motorhome and a car collided on the Thessaloniki–Moudania highway. Two people were injured and taken to hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
In Montrose, Colorado, an RV owner mistakenly connected a chemical toilet hose to an underground diesel tank at a gas station. The station had designated waste disposal tanks for RVs, located away from fuel pumps. The entire diesel supply, filled the previous day after cleaning, must be discarded and the tank cleaned again.
Since January 2025, a new law in Greece restricts parking of motorhomes and caravans in public spaces. Violations can result in fines up to 300 euros and up to three months imprisonment. Parking in residential areas is limited to 24 hours for vehicles longer than 7.5 meters.
Richard Smith, 81, from the US works seven days a week and lives in a motorhome because he cannot retire due to debt and lack of savings. He spends half the year in a camper in New Hampshire, working as a night guard at a campground and as a DoorDash delivery driver, while wintering in his own home in Florida. His financial troubles stem from early marriage, family expenses, and risky investments of his retirement package in 2009. Smith's total debt is about $350,000, and his retirement fund holds only $20,000.
