An Indiana overlanding creator installed a 400-watt solar system on a HiperLion camper, using two 200-watt BougeRV flexible panels connected to a Redarc system through a cable gland. The main challenge was routing wires on a pop-up roof, requiring enough slack for safe movement as the camper opens and closes. The panels are secured with 3M VHB tape and extra sealant, and are rated for temperatures from -40 to 185 degrees.

At Overland Expo West in Arizona, the Ultimate Build based on the 2026 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X debuted with a Tune Outdoor M1L camper and gear from 28 partners. The vehicle heads to auction after shows.

The 2026 Ultimate Overland Vehicle Build, a Nissan Frontier PRO‑4X, was unveiled at Overland Expo. It features an AllDogs Offroad suspension lift, ComeUp winch, Battle Born battery, and REDARC solar panels. Now in its sixth year, the program showcases modular, serviceable design for extended travel.
REDARC has launched the RS3 inverter series with 1200W, 2000W and 3000W models, featuring pure sine wave and built-in ATS. The units are 26% smaller and 28% lighter than comparable models, deliver full power up to 40°C and support RV-C protocol.
