What Car? magazine has published an updated review of the Volkswagen Grand California campervan. In March 2025, the model received an updated infotainment system, digital instruments, and a revised 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 159bhp. The motorhome is offered in two length variants — a 6-metre, four-berth model and a 6.8-metre version for couples, with the heavier variant requiring an upgraded driver's licence.
