FurgoVolkswagen 2026 sets attendance record

The 23rd FurgoVolkswagen meeting, held from May 15 to 17 at Camping La Ballena Alegre in Sant Pere Pescador (Girona), attracted over 8,000 participants and 1,000 vans. Started in 2004 as an informal gathering of Volkswagen owners, the event has become Europe's largest camper van concentration. VW Grand California: Toxic Substances in VW Campers – Dr. Stoll & Sauer

The VW Grand California, a motorhome based on the VW Crafter, has been found to emit volatile organic compounds such as benzene, styrene, formaldehyde, and xylenes from its GRP roof. Law firm Dr. Stoll & Sauer has filed a lawsuit against Volkswagen, seeking contract rescission and damages. Measured levels include benzene up to 159.1 µg/m³ (limit 4.5 µg/m³) and styrene up to 4,535.6 µg/m³ (limit 300 µg/m³).
