Metio unveils camper van based on Toyota Hiace with aluminum frame and California-style interior

Tendo City (Yamagata Prefecture) has signed an agreement with Vantech to prioritize renting RVs during earthquakes and floods. The RVs accommodate 5–6 people and are equipped for housing dispatched staff and medical personnel.

Japanese company YURT has developed the VANLIFE ROOMKIT conversion kit for the 7-seat Toyota Sienta. It provides a sleeping platform up to 192 cm long with storage underneath. The kit debuts May 9–10 at Fieldstyle Tokyo, with sales expected in 2026.
