A van conversion is a standard cargo van, minibus, or panel van that has been converted into a campervan or motorhome, either professionally or as a self-build project.

Popular base vehicles include the Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter, Ford Transit, and Renault Master. Unlike factory campervans, conversions vary widely in design and quality and are not subject to M1-class type approval.
