The city council of Tomelloso, led by Mayor Javier Navarro, has announced the construction of a new public motorhome parking area. The facility will be the ninth of ten major urban transformations under the municipal 10T strategy.
The site will include spaces for motorhomes, water supply, grey and black water disposal, toilets and showers, as well as a digital reception, access control system, video surveillance, energy-efficient lighting and rest areas. Solar (photovoltaic) canopies for self-sufficient energy supply and electric vehicle charging stations are also planned.
Located in the heart of La Mancha, with access to the A-43, CM-42 and A-4 highways, the area is expected to attract travelers. Authorities aim to draw tourists interested in culture, wine tourism and gastronomy, boosting the local economy through visitor spending in shops, restaurants and cultural sites.
