The administration of the municipality of Sorriso (Mato Grosso state) held a first meeting with entrepreneur Itamar Rombaldi, who proposed creating a support point for caravanners and motorhome travelers in the city. The meeting took place on Monday, August 10, at the Secretariat of Economic Development, Science, Technology, Innovation and Tourism (SEMDT).
The proposal includes providing water, electricity and a place for wastewater disposal. According to Rombaldi, Mato Grosso currently has no structured support points for this segment, and Sorriso could become the first municipality in the state with such infrastructure. A final decision has not been made; the application must be formalized and undergo technical evaluation.
