The Rochester Planning Board unanimously approved a site plan for Eastern Pines Campground at 34 Little Falls Bridge Road on July 6. The campground will feature 89 motorhome sites and eight tent sites, along with a camp store, pool, dog park, playgrounds, bath house, and river access. Neighbors raised concerns about increased traffic and flood risk, but the developer stated that crushed stone surfaces and infiltration devices will prevent runoff changes. The project already has a ZBA special exception and a shoreline protection permit.
