A motion to allocate a municipal plot of about 10 hectares, known as Civelli Park, at kilometer 358.5 of Route 3 in the Cangüé area for motorhome gatherings has been referred to a committee of the Paysandú Departmental Board. The initiative, by National Party councilors Humberto Biglieri, Heber Alcoba and Emiliano Márquez, notes that Paysandú lacks a dedicated site for this type of tourism, which attracts Uruguayan, Argentine and Brazilian visitors. The proposal requests that the Tourism Committee study the matter.
