Lu and Javi from Uruguay sold their possessions, bought a motorhome in Chile and have been travelling South America since 22 June 2024. They have covered about 27,000 km through Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil. The preparation took three years: Javi worked as a bus driver and studied web programming, while Lu worked in design and social media. They now work remotely for Uruguayan companies and run an Instagram account with almost 40,000 followers. In Brazil the motorhome's timing belt broke, the repair took 45 days, and after they posted about it on social media they received help from followers in several countries.
