The municipality of Porto Sant'Elpidio has announced a tender for the management of a new paid parking area for campers and cars on Via Milano, near the city pool. The site will cover 4,370 square meters and will include about 40 camper spots and 60 car spots. The parking will be concessioned to a private operator for three years.
Maximum continuous parking for campers is limited to 72 hours, after which a break is required. Camper fees will range from 12 to 48 euros (according to one source, up to 43 euros) depending on the duration of stay. The total concession value is estimated at 139,500 euros. Bids for management are accepted until March 4.
