The Rivierè Rouge RV Park has opened southeast of Alexandria in Rapides Parish, Louisiana, near the Poland Community. The campground sits along an oxbow of the Red River and offers a boat ramp, a pavilion, a playground and a stocked pond. It currently has 18 rental spots: four along a levee and 14 along the oxbow. Owners Trent and Leah Dauzat plan to open 12 more sites along the pond by mid-November. River spots cost $75 per night or $750 per month, levee spots $55 per night or $550 per month, both with full hookups.
