New Louisiana RV park aims for partial opening by July 4

In Kellogg, Idaho, the Gold Run Fire, which started Tuesday afternoon, threatened over 120 structures by evening, including the Big Creek RV Park. The fire destroyed three non-residential buildings at the Shoshone Golf Club, while the main clubhouse was saved. As of Wednesday morning, the fire was 235 acres and 10% contained, with no injuries reported. The cause is under investigation.

The California Coastal Commission approved a request from San Diego Parks & Recreation to adjust parking restrictions at 13 of the city's 35 beach lots.
