In Barßelermoor, Germany, a new motorhome parking lot with 32 spaces has been completed on Deichstraße. The site is located on the former school grounds, near the port of Barßel. Opening is scheduled for May 2026 after approval by the municipality.
The parking lot is equipped with water, electricity and internet, and includes a tent area. Construction cost 350,000 euros, partly funded by the Leader program. The area had previously been a subject of dispute.
