The Augsburg district in Germany is considering expanding its motorhome infrastructure. Currently, the only dedicated motorhome parking area in the district is in Königsbrunn with 13 spaces, which generated €8,000 profit in 2025 on €28,000 revenue. Klosterlechfeld plans to create 15–20 spaces, with a decision expected in September. Bobingen will open a service station for fresh water and waste disposal in September. A feasibility study also identifies Allmannshofen, Großaitingen, and Welden as potential locations, though no concrete plans exist yet.
