Devon Cliffs Holiday Park in Exmouth has applied to East Devon District Council to extend its operating season from February 1 to January 14, allowing it to host guests during the February half-term. Currently, the park opens on February 28 and typically closes in November, with selected festive breaks in December. The park states that no new development is proposed and that the extension would help protect existing jobs and contribute to local economic growth. Haven Leisure, which owns the park, reported that its 39 parks across England, Scotland, and Wales attracted approximately 3.9 million visitors in 2025, with expectations of surpassing 4 million this year.
