The Japan RV Association (JRVA), in partnership with Lawson convenience stores and Glory, has launched a pilot project allowing motorhomes to stay overnight at six store parking lots in Chiba Prefecture. The trial runs from July 14, 2025, to June 30, 2026. JRVA data shows Japan's motorhome fleet reached 165,000 units in 2024, with RV Park sites increasing by about 100 annually since 2022.
