The Japan RV Association is expanding its network of paid RV parks. New facilities have opened in Yachimata and Kyoto, offering spaces with electricity and restrooms.

The Japan RV Association continues to develop a network of specialized paid parking lots for safe overnight stays in camper vans. In early March 2026, two new facilities opened.

RV Park YACHIMATA (Chiba Prefecture)

The park in Yachimata offers seven spacious sites with electricity, a 24-hour restroom, and wastewater disposal. Overnight rates start at 3,500 yen.

kyoto.takao360 RV Park (Kyoto)

The Kyoto park accommodates two vehicles and provides electricity and a 24-hour restroom. Pets are allowed. Both parks aim to address the issue of bans on long-term parking at regular lots.
