The Japan RV Association (JRVA) announced that the number of certified overnight car-parking sites, known as "RV Park," reached 676 as of the end of July 2026. In July, 32 new facilities were opened, including parks with entertainment programs, those at convenience stores, and "RV Park Shodoshima Daikanon" in Kagawa Prefecture. The association continues to expand the network for comfortable and safe overnight stays in vehicles.
Earlier, as of December 1, 2025, the total number of such sites was 589. At that time, four new parks were reported in Mie, Chiba, Ehime, and Kyoto prefectures, including RV Park Kyoto-Engawa with hot springs and RV Park OYR LAND.
