Camping site plans
Gunsan City (Jeonbuk Province) announced plans to build a camping site for pet owners in the Geumgangho tourist area. The 8,400 sq. m site will feature 13 auto camping spots, a dog playground, toilets and showers. The project budget is 2 billion won, with 1 billion won from state funds and 1 billion won from city funds. A themed pet product market is also planned.
Timeline
According to sources, construction will begin in September. Completion dates differ: one source says the project is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026, while another says opening is expected in the first half of 2027.
