The municipality of Enego (Vicenza province) has announced the start of work on the first municipal camper area on Via Sant'Antonio. The project, costing €134,000, is funded by Italy's Ministry of Tourism. According to one source, funding comes from the 2024 program, and the project ranked first in the Veneto region and second nationally among 237 participants.
The area, covering about 700 square meters (706 sq m according to another source), will feature 7 parking spaces, a service station, e-bike charging stations, and disabled access. Construction is scheduled to begin in late summer–autumn 2025.
The work is part of a broader open-air tourism development strategy on the Sette Comuni plateau, which also includes the renovation of the camper area in Asiago.
