Campgrounds in the Stockach area (Baden-Württemberg) report a successful start to the 2026 season. According to operators, bookings are coming in continuously, including over the winter, and many regular guests reserve spots a year in advance. In 2025, Germany recorded nearly 44.7 million overnight stays at campsites — an all-time high, up 4.2% from 2024. Key trends include growing popularity of cycling (especially e-bikes) and higher demands for infrastructure: Wi-Fi, digital booking systems, and charging stations.
