A motorhome stopover with three dedicated spaces and a maximum stay of 48 hours has opened at Parque das Nações in the Próspera district of Criciúma. The site is located near the Rua da Gente entrance and is already available to travellers using recreational vehicles. Criciúma city hall installed the facility through its tourism and parks and squares departments to expand visitor accommodation options and encourage tourism. Visitors must identify themselves on arrival; sound equipment is banned in outdoor areas and clothes lines are not allowed, while pets are permitted. After using the waste disposal point the area must be left clean, and extension cables and hoses must be stowed when not in use.
