Since 1 October, the motorhome stopover in Chalon-sur-Saône has been officially open within the European Camping Car Park network. Grand Chalon invested €200,000 in the 24-pitch site. After a few weeks of operation, occupancy reached 68%, with 1,250 overnight stays and a visitor rating of 4.3 out of 5. The 3,300 sq m site is located a few hundred metres from the historic centre, opposite the Colisée and 20 metres from the Maison des Vins de la Côte Chalonnaise. It offers video surveillance, automatic access control, 24/7 opening, Wi-Fi and electric hook-up points.
