The municipality of Burriana (Castellón province) has reported on the first three months of its motorhome area on the seafront at Serratella beach. Between April and June 2026, 639 overnight stays were recorded, with an average of about seven registrations per day and full occupancy on four occasions.
The facility has 18 pitches. The direct economic impact on local businesses is estimated at €31,950 (some sources say around €32,000). Visitors come mainly from Germany (28.23%), France (21.53%) and Spain (16.51%). According to one source, the facility cost the municipality €119,808 to build; authorities plan to expand infrastructure for motorhome tourism.
