French web developer Ronan sold his house in Brest for €112,000 and bought a used 2005 motorhome for €22,000. Since April 2022, he has been living in the motorhome, traveling through France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy, while working remotely.
According to his calculations, this lifestyle allows him to save between €300 and €400 per month on an income of €1,600–€1,800. Main expenses are fuel (about €200 per month) and food; for electricity he pays €5–€20 per day at campsites. In an interview, he said: "Today I save more than €400 per month."
