A Brazilian couple traveling the world in a motorhome arrived in Macapá after three days on the road. The route began in Santarém, Pará, included a ferry crossing and passed through a road crossing the Amazon rainforest. Amapá is the only Brazilian state without direct road connection to the rest of the country. The couple has visited 23 states and plans to explore Amapá despite road difficulties and ferry costs.
