A Brazilian couple traveling in a motorhome has completed visits to 23 states, reaching Amapá, the only state without direct road connection to the rest of the country. They started from Chuí in the south and spent over seven months traveling through South America, including Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela. The most difficult stretch was between the Paru River and Monte Dourado in Pará, with mud, sand, and isolation. On the BR-156 highway between Laranjal do Jari and Macapá, they faced potholes. The couple plans to visit tourist spots in Amapá and share their experience on social media to encourage other travelers despite the high cost of ferries.
