Sina published a review of three three-day motorhome routes for summer 2026: the Ulanqab grassland route (about 1500 yuan per vehicle, average temperature 18°C), the Weihai coastal route (about 1800 yuan per vehicle, 24-hour security) and the Moganshan mountain route (about 2000 yuan per vehicle, 35 bends, maximum gradient 15%). All campsites are licensed with water and electricity hookups; the daily budget is 500–800 yuan per person. The coastal route is recommended for families with children under 6, the grassland route for children over 6, and the mountain route only for experienced drivers.
