The Pet Carpet association has launched the sixth season of the Pet Camper Tour, a mobile campaign against animal abandonment and for road safety. The symbol of the tour is 'Super Fra' — an image of Saint Francis of Assisi, who, according to organizers, was history's first 'green influencer.'
The event is held under the patronage of Fnovi and Anas, with the participation of the police and carabinieri. The first stop is Assisi (May 31 – June 1), followed by Castel Gandolfo (June 13–14) and Valmontone (July 4–5). The program includes interactive workshops on recycling, plant and animal care, lectures, games, and the presentation of the Anas campaign 'Don't Abandon a Part of Yourself.' Video testimonials will also be collected for the international Pet Carpet Film Festival, to be held in Rome in September 2026.
