Greek TV host Sakis Tanimanidis and his wife Christina Boba made a transatlantic trip to Canada with their five-year-old twin daughters Ariana and Filippa. Instead of staying in a hotel, the couple rented a motorhome to travel between different regions of the country.
The family's route included Vancouver and Banff, where they visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge and learned about Indigenous culture. Photos and videos posted on Instagram show family moments in nature: canoe trips on lakes and hikes through forests. In the caption, they wrote: "Canada with the whole family and a motorhome." During a crossing of a suspension bridge, Tanimanidis admitted that now, as a father, he understands the excessive anxiety of other parents. The trip was aimed at creating an educational experience for the children. The posts have gathered thousands of likes and comments.
The couple published a photo album from the trip, which drew admiration from many celebrity friends in the comments. They also share on Instagram the everyday challenges of living in a motorhome with children, including cooking and keeping things tidy.
Motorhome rental prices in Canada start from 90 Canadian dollars per night, while larger models cost from 250 to 350 Canadian dollars. Travelers with children are reminded to use child seats and follow safety rules.
The couple met in late 2015, married in September 2018 on Sifnos, and their daughters were born in June 2021.
