Eva Outram, a former NHS employee, gave up an annual salary of 44,400 euros to move into a motorhome with her partner Tom. They live on a farm near Chester, helping the owners instead of paying rent, working just 3-6 hours a week. The couple's monthly expenses are 125 pounds sterling (146 euros).
Outram decided to change her life after taking part in the show "Alone", where she spent 23 days in the Canadian wilderness, and realised she had been living by others' expectations. According to one source she is 23, according to another 28. It is also reported that she gave up an apartment in Leeds, and housing costs dropped from 1300 to 125 pounds a month.
