A family of three stayed overnight in a motorhome at an RV park next to the Oze Market in Numata, Gunma Prefecture. Guests have free access to a hot-water shower, and the site includes a foot bath where visitors can eat udon and local sake. The next morning the family completed the roughly 60-minute loop trail in Fukiware Gorge and viewed the waterfall, about 7 m high and 30 m wide, known as the "Niagara of the East." The walking trail closes annually for winter from mid-December.
