Goboony surveyed 2,158 travellers and motorhome owners across seven European countries. 83% of respondents would consider a campervan trip to process an important life event. The most common reasons cited were retirement (54%) and burnout (50%). 33% would take such a trip after a breakup or divorce, 26% after losing a loved one. 39% actively seek destinations with no phone signal or Wi-Fi. Road trips scored an average wellbeing rating of 88.6% for improving mood, and 79% said they felt refreshed for longer than after a hotel holiday.
