In the UK, motorhomes are increasingly seen as a premium lifestyle choice rather than old-fashioned holiday transport. The 2026 Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show drew over 100,000 visitors, up 12 per cent on 2025, while spending on overnight domestic trips in England rose six per cent to £29 billion in 2025. In a survey of 2,000 UK travellers, 53 per cent were more likely to choose domestic touring holidays than flying abroad, and 28 per cent of working adults in Great Britain were hybrid workers in early 2025, giving many the flexibility to extend trips.
