22-year-old Philip found a way to bypass Moscow's rental prices by turning his old Oka into a full-fledged home. His new address is a parking spot in the city center with a view of the Kremlin. The car is equipped with a sleeping area, a dining zone and a storage system. Despite being 189 cm tall, he feels comfortable.
Philip has been living in the car for a week, traveling around Moscow. He once spent the night near the Kremlin walls. According to user estimates, if he paid for parking at Moscow rates, it would amount to about 300 thousand rubles per month — comparable to renting an apartment. Philip also uses the car as a mobile office: he spent a working day in it, noting that internet and electricity work, but it's cramped. He plans to continue the experiment, saving on rent.
