The couple's story
Marta Tibau (45) and Marià Miño (48) met in 2007 in an Andorran prison, where both worked in the media covering a visit by a prisoners' rights representative. In 2012 they began a one-way trip from Buenos Aires in a 1995 Volkswagen California.
Travels and vehicles
Over 14 years they crossed the Americas from Ushuaia to Alaska, visited 21 countries and drove more than 190,000 km. In 2025 they bought a 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser Camper Series 79 for the "Around Australia" project. Since 2021 they have lived solely on income from the YouTube channel Furgoenruta with over 200,000 subscribers.
According to one source, the first meeting took place during a press visit to the prison, while according to another they met in the Andorran prison. Both sources agree the couple have been together for almost 20 years.
