On June 18, the third stage of the 'Caminhos do Paraná – Cataratas e Caminhos' route, Brazil's largest trailer and motorhome caravan, started in the city of Marechal Cândido Rondon (Paraná state). Participants visited Porto Mendes park, held a motorcade, and opened a parking area at the Ney Braga sports complex for free vehicle viewing. Evening cultural performances and live music are planned. The caravan of 20 vehicles passes through ten cities in western Paraná until June 21.
Earlier, in April, city authorities considered creating official parking lots with a three-day stay limit. In June, a free parking area for motorhomes, campers, and other travel vehicles was equipped. The site is located next to the sports complex and stadium, with electricity, water supply, and waste disposal system. It is open year-round except July (due to the Expo Rondon fair). A prior registration on the website is required for stays up to three days.
