The Catalan couple Marià Miño and Marta Tibau, known as Furgo en Ruta, have lived in a camper since 2012 and have no plans to return to a conventional life. They started their journey with a plan to travel through South America in a year and a half, but expanded their route to North America and Australia, where they now live in a Toyota Land Cruiser converted into a camper.
Previously, they worked in Andorra at a newspaper and on television. After an experience in India in 2008, they decided to combine travel with creating video content. Their project Furgoaddictes helped finance their first van. Along the way, they began earning money through music and selling handmade crafts, which allowed them to extend their trip indefinitely.
Since 2019, they have traveled through Mexico and Alaska, and then moved to Australia. The couple runs a YouTube channel and says they have no intention of returning to a sedentary life.
