French singer Daniel Guichard, now 77, has spoken about his life in a motorhome. He bought his third motorhome in 2018 and uses it for trips to concerts, including performances in Paris, where he stays at the Bois de Boulogne campsite. According to the artist, his children initially laughed at this choice.
The Niesmann + Bischoff motorhome, weighing 5.5 tonnes, was purchased for the price of a house. Guichard notes that thanks to his old driving licence, he can drive this vehicle without a category C licence. With nearly 90,000 kilometres on the odometer, the motorhome has become a home where he feels comfortable. He also takes part in discussions about low-emission zones (ZFE).
For long trips, he rents a car, for example an electric car for 25 euros. He travels across France with his companion.
