Xu Lin, secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, during a working trip to Bijie on August 12–13, visited the Yishanhuagu resort area (also referred to as Yishan Huagu) and the Huaguan RV camping site, where he reviewed projects and talked with tourists. He instructed to develop the temporary residence industry based on local conditions, focusing on summer vacation and wellness.
In 2025, tourist arrivals in the province grew by 8.9%, tourist spending by 11.1%, and per-capita spending by 2%. Authorities plan to make Guizhou a leading destination for long-term stays by 2030.
