The Japan RV Association has recommended three RV parks attached to roadside stations (michi-no-eki) in Fukushima Prefecture for camper travelers. The parks offer access to local cuisine, souvenirs, and in some cases, natural hot springs. Overnight fees range from 2,700 to 3,500 yen, with capacity for five vehicles each. One park, RV Park Michi-no-eki Naraha, is a 5-minute drive from the Hiro-no IC on the Joban Expressway and features sodium chloride hot springs. Another, RV Park Michi-no-eki Inawashiro, is located near the Inawashiro-Bandai IC and offers views of Mount Bandai. The third, RV Park Kita-Nikko Oku-Aizu Michi-no-eki Kirara 289, is situated in the mountainous Minami-Aizu area and has a spa facility that will reopen after renovation in April 2026.
