French couple O. Autret and E. Cornebois converted a Volkswagen T4 into a camper and, with their daughter, set off from France to Japan across Eurasia. The route passed through Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, South Korea, and Japan, returning via Southeast Asia, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Iran, and Turkey. They visited Kazakhstan four times, highlighting the Turkistan region. The travelers noted the hospitality of locals, the diversity of nature, and improved road quality between 2017 and 2023.
