A couple who run a vanlife channel were forced to spend the night in their camper van due to heavy snowfall in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan, on January 20, 2024. Snow accumulation reached 60 cm, blocking roads and the vehicle's doors. Despite an interior temperature of -2°C, the couple stated their equipped van kept them from feeling too cold.
