MDF Equipment offers the D:POP based on the new Mitsubishi Delica D:5. The seven- or eight-seat minivan gets a pop-up roof with a tent, turning it into a camper van for overnight stays.
When opened, the tent provides a bed of 1800×1160 mm, large enough for two adults to lie comfortably. The tent has a three-way opening system, including a mesh setting and a full opening. With the roof closed, the vehicle is 1990 mm tall, so it fits into most multi-storey car parks. The opening from the cabin into the tent is fitted without touching the body's rib-bone frame.
The D:POP comes with the pop-up roof as standard. Buyers can add outdoor and custom parts, including components from major manufacturers, and order a vehicle to suit their needs and budget.
