Israeli turns 11-square-meter caravan into home on wheels amid soaring rent

Tamar Cesana and her partner Benaya are spending nearly two months traveling across the US in a rented RV. They altered their route due to wildfires in Colorado and Utah, and faced challenges on remote Nevada highways. The couple observes Shabbat, stopping near Chabad houses, and finds kosher products even in remote areas.

Diana and Naseer Mansour, a Palestinian couple, swapped their traditional house for a 43-foot fifth wheel trailer and now travel across the US with their three sons and dog. They chose this lifestyle to prioritize family time and experiences over material possessions. The RV includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen, accommodating the family of five comfortably.

German adventurer Marco Düsterhöft built a homemade mini-camper to tow with his electric bike. The 2-meter-long, 40-kg structure is made from XPS foam boards and an old children's trailer. The roof features a solar panel to power lighting and equipment, with a 12-volt electric blanket providing heating.
