In Germany, the motorhome market is growing: in 2020, 78,000 new motorhomes were registered, 41% more than the previous year, and since 2021 annual registrations have remained around 77,000. Prices for new fully equipped motorhomes start at 60,000–80,000 euros, while used ones start at five-figure sums.
Annual costs for insurance, taxes, maintenance, and parking range from 1,500 to 3,500 euros, plus depreciation of 5–9% per year (up to 15% in the first years).
