In 2020, 78,000 new motorhomes were registered in Germany, 41% more than the previous year, and since 2021 annual registrations have remained around 77,000. Prices for new fully equipped motorhomes start at €60,000–80,000, while used ones start in the five-figure range. Annual costs for insurance, taxes, maintenance and storage range from €1,500 to €3,500, plus depreciation of 5–9% per year (up to 15% in the first years).
